○be off　：　出かける、出発する

『We're off to Dogo Onsen tomorrow.』
「明日から道後温泉に行くんだ。」

○jealous　：　うらやむ、羨望する

『I'm jealous! When will you be back?』
「いいなぁ〜！いつ戻るの？」

○the day after tomorrow　：　明後日

『The day after tomorrow. We're only going for the weekend.』
「明後日までだよ。週末を過ごしに行くだけだからね。」


■Break Time■　−昨日・一昨日−

本日の表現では未来にあたる「明後日」『the day after tomorrow』をご紹介しましたが、更に進んで「明明後日（しあさって）」を『two days after tomorrow』や『three days later』等で表現することはご存じでしたか？
逆に、過去をあらわす「昨日」『yesterday』は、きっと皆さんもよくご存じですよね。更に遡って「一昨日」は『the day before yesterday』、「一昨昨日（さきおととい）」は『three days ago』等で表現できるんですよ。
