○What's on one's mind?　：　何を悩んで（考えて）いるの？

『What's on your mind?』−『Oh, I'm so sad...』
「何を悩んでいるの？」−「すごく悲しくて。。。」

○divorce　：　離婚する

『I got a phone call from my aunt. My cousin had got divorced.』
「おばから電話があって、いとこが離婚したって。」

○get along　：　仲良くする
『We got along very well, and we used to do a lot of things together.』
「私達、仲が良かったから、昔はよく一緒にいろんな事をしたの。」


■Break Time■　−血縁−

「血縁関係」『relationship』に関する「両親」『parents』や「兄弟／姉妹」『brother/sister』、それに本日の表現にもある「おば」や「いとこ」などの表現をご存じの方は多いと思います。
では、もう一歩踏み込んで、「祖父母」や「曾祖父」、「はとこ」などの表現はいかがでしょうか？
「祖父母」は『grandparents』、「曾祖父」は『great grandfather』、「はとこ」は『second cousin』と表現するんですよ。
